Clan Match Rules and Regulations

  1. Match Set-up
    1. Each match will consist of four maps thirty minutes in length, or two maps thirty minutes in length if both clans agree they want a shorter war. The maps will be chosen by the two teams prior to the match date, and are not to be changed once decided upon.
    2. Teams will choose what color they wish to be prior to the match date, and will remain that color for all four maps. It is also an agreement that during a rematch, the team cannot be the same color as before.
    3. Teams must have a minimum of at least six players and a maximum of ten players. If a team is not able to produce six players, and have NOT cancelled their match at least one full day before the clan match, that team will be forced to forfeit their match.
    4. Upon entering the server, all players must go to spectator mode until both teams decide it is time to start the match. If a player is caught in the game before the match begins, it will cost their team five points off of that map.
    5. All players must enter the server with their correct tags, and cannot change their tag for the duration of the match. In addition, the team captains will share a list of players that will be attending the match as well as THREE alternates. These alternates can be taken through honorary members or alliances a clan has made.
    6. A NEUTRAL referee will appointed prior to the match date. This person cannot be a member of either clan or in a clan that has an alliance with either clan. The referee's job will be to make sure the rules and regulations are abided by all members during the match as well as to keep track of the score during the match. It will be his job to calculate the death penalty resulting from going into spectator mode, and correct that from the final score. He will also decide if a violation of these rules merits a deduction in points. The referee will remain in spectator mode for all maps and will consult with the team captains after the match is over to determine the winner of the match.
  2. Rules on Game Play
    1. Once a match begins, the game will continue until completion with no interruptions. If a player has to go AFK, then that team has to play a man down until that player returns.
    2. At no time is a player allowed to go into spectate mode during the match as they could be relaying enemy positions to their team. If a player goes into spectator mode for any reason, it will cost their team five points for that map.
    3. Cheating in any form will result in an automatic loss to the team whose member is caught cheating.
    4. No bragging or trash talking is to be allowed during the match. For every abuse of this rule, five points will be deducted from the score of the abusers team for that map. As to what bragging and trash talking is, it is best to just keep your comments to your team throughout the whole match. A player should really only say "Good luck" at the beginning and "good game" at the end to the other teams. Team captains must consult each other after all maps are completed to determine the winner, and can cost their team points for the last map played if they don't act civil during said meeting.
    5. The referee will determine if a full map has not been played. The definition of a full map is from when all players decide to start to when the maps timer runs out. If the map ends for any reason before this, the referee will call for an additional map to be played.
  3. Determining the Winner
    1. After all four maps have been completed, both team captains must come together and agree upon scores from the four maps. The winner will be determined by the HIGHEST TOTAL SCORE COLUMN of all players on a team through all maps. If any of the four maps cannot be completed, then the match will not be considered complete until the clans are able to make up that map as soon as possible. If a team cannot produce enough members after a map lags out or crashes, then that team forfeits that map.
    2. Deducted points must be taken into account before scores are tallied. If a team has a contested point deduction, you must consult the match referee to settle the dispute.
    3. Once all maps have been completed and the scores have been agreed upon, the scores are final and can not be changed.
    4. Screenshots of scores for each map must be made available to everyone for photographic proof of the winner of each match.
    5. A clan has the right to turn down a rematch if they wish. At no time is a clan obligated to participate in a match they do not wish to be in.
